Moist vanilla sponge or chocolate cake split with fresh whipped cream and topped with lots of fresh seasonal fruits. The sides are covered in roasted flaked almonds or chocolate curls. (fruit varieties may alter according to seasonal market availability)

This product contains wheat gluten, dairy and nuts. All of our cakes are made fresh to order.

Transportation
Cakes should be placed on level non slip surface. Do not transport cakes tilting on car front or back seats. Cakes should be transported as quickly and smoothly as possible to required destination.
Storage
Do not refrigerate your cake. Store in a cool, dry place before serving. Ideally you should store your cake in the box it arrives in until required. Once cut, store in an airtight container. Other than Rich Fruit Cakes, please note the cakes are not suitable for freezing.
Best Before
Your cake has a shelf life of one week (seven days) from the ‘Date required’ which appears on your product order form.
For Best Serving Results
If you have candles and/or sparklers arrange these on the cake. Please adhere to safety instructions on sparkler packets. Please note; an adult should supervise children when using candles and sparklers and when cutting the cake.
All edible and non-edible decorations should be removed before cutting and serving the cake.
Cut cake with a clean sharp knife. All tiered cakes and tall novelty cakes are internally supported by food grade plastic rods and plates. These should be removed when cutting the cake and before serving.

    First I want to say that I ordered this cake 2 days before the actual day so well down to the shop for making it with short notice. The cake it's was beautifully presented, the only thing I can say that could have improved was the fruit wasn't sweet but I guess it was just unlucky for us as the cake store couldn't have known it wasn't sweet unless they ate the fruit themseves, also I would have like a sweeter tasting cream but on the plus side the cake was very light an fluffy and the staff are very friendly, I'm already planning my next visit to this store. :)

    Such a special cake for a very special daughter. I have used this cake shop for the past 25 years and I can honestly say it I have never had reason to complain - always faultless. My daughter won't eat any other cake. Thank you for making her day special again! See you again soon

    I ordered this cake for my husbands birthday for a family party. The cake looks beautiful with all the fruits on top. The fresh cream is light and fluffy and the chocolate sponge was delicious. The cake is not too sweet or heavy which means you can have that very much wanted second slice! Everyone asked me where I got it and were keen to buy it for their future parties it really had the wow factor.

    I brought this cake for my partners birthday, the cake was fantastic and tasted so fresh. I would recommend anyone to purchase a cake from the cake shop, you wont be disappointed.

    I bought 2 of these for my family last Christmas and they were simply amazing! The sponge is so light and the taste is to die for. The fruit is fresh and tastes delicious. I have never been disappointed with any cakes purchased from the cake store and this one was spot on yet again. It was so lovely I have ordered another one for my birthday much to the excitement of my family.

    Normally on my birthday I bake my own cakes to take into work, unfortunately this time due to a family crisis I was unable to do it. Having had several cakes/gateaus from The cake store in the past I decided to order a large round Gateau (served 30). I drove from near Slough to the shop to collect this. (Shows you how good they must be !!!) and true to form it did not let me down it was excellent, everybody loved it and was asking me where I got it so look out for new orders coming your way :-)

    I ordered my birthday cake last here and everyone loved it , simply great!!!!! Same this time ,one for my brother's 50th and ,again,fantastic!!!!Beautifully decorated with fresh fruit such as blackberries, strawberries and fresh cream.
